For our client Quatt, we developed a complete product for controlling their heat pump system in a short period. The ‘Commander in Chief’ is the heart of the installation and handles the connection of the heat pump, room thermostat, and central heating boiler to Quatt's back-end system.

This project is a good example of the collaboration that Betronic undertakes with its clients. The client has an in-house team of software engineers who developed both the embedded software and the back-end software. An external design agency translated Quatt's requirements into an appealing design. Betronic's role was focused on developing the hardware (PCB) with all the necessary interfaces, preparing the casing for production, and creating the moulds for the plastic parts.

This successful collaboration has resulted in the product achieving a very short Time to Market.

From the initial products, production takes place at Betronic, and it is delivered as a complete end product, fully packed. The experiences of installers and users are incorporated into updates. A good example of this is the addition of a drilling template within the casing for the installer, which further improves the installation process.
