Why do I like working at Betronic?

The complexity and dynamics of our industry mean that no two days are the same. There are always challenges, sometimes concerning the supply of components, other times in the technical complexity, and occasionally within the team itself. It is very rewarding to create great products and work in a close partnership with customers, suppliers and my own team. Now that we are part of Betronic, I have international colleagues with similar challenges to bounce ideas off; they can learn from me and I from them.

What are my tasks and responsibilities at Betronic?

As the person responsible for the Shannon production site, I am in charge of attracting and developing local customers and for all production at this location. Since the acquisition, this means that we also manufacture for customers who are managed from the Netherlands. In order to achieve our operational and financial objectives, I am intensively involved in production planning, quality assurance, coordination with Amsterdam, and the implementation of innovations to continuously improve our processes.

What else do I enjoy, besides working at Betronic?

In my spare time I like to play golf and spend time on the south-west coast of Ireland. In addition, I am a dedicated supporter of our local Limerick GAA hurling team.
