Betronic charity auction

Amsterdam, 19 June 2026: On a Friday afternoon, Betronic organised an auction to raise money for two charities that the company supports: UNICEF and the Salvation Army (LdH).

Good result

During the auction, 25 lots were sold, including 10 desktops, 5 laptops, various IT accessories, a 3D printer and an electric bicycle. There was considerable interest, and the bidding was taken very seriously. The proceeds from this auction amounted to €1200, and this money was transferred on the spot to one of the two charities supported by Betronic.

Partnership fulfilment

In addition to the annual transfer of funds, Betronic considers it very important to create further points of contact to shape the partnership with the charities in a more meaningful way. The company regularly invites guest speakers from UNICEF and LdH to better understand how the money is spent, but above all to create greater involvement among staff.

Betronic also encourages staff to contribute in kind to experience firsthand why the company supports the goals. The auction was an experiment, but a decision has since been made to organise a follow-up edition after the summer.
