Betronic Group nominated for the DISCA 2026 award

Betronic Group is nominated for the DISCA 2026 award in the category of Best Knowledge Suppliers. A nomination we are proud of, especially because these awards prioritize the feedback from customers and suppliers. The final and award ceremony will take place on November 19, 2026, at Boerderij Mereveld in Utrecht.

A nomination to be proud of

The Dutch Industrial Suppliers and Customers Awards (DISCA) of Link Magazine are celebrating their 24th edition this year. In the second round of the Best Knowledge Supplier Award, 45 companies have been nominated, including Betronic Group from Amsterdam. The awards highlight the collaboration between customers and suppliers in the industry.

What makes a Best Knowledge Supplier?

The Best Knowledge Supplier Award is intended for suppliers with in-house research & development, including engineering, in the Netherlands. The focus is on the value they add to their customer’s end product through their development and engineering expertise. Examples include solutions that increase the customer’s revenue or reduce the cost of the end product.

It is therefore not just about what a supplier delivers, but especially about what their knowledge enables for the customer. This makes this category particularly important to us: it emphasizes the importance of expertise, collaboration, and working together to achieve a better end result.

Recognition from the value chain

A distinctive feature of DISCA is that companies cannot nominate themselves. An introduction comes from a customer or a supplier. Link Magazine asks a large number of companies annually for recommendations of partners they believe deserve recognition.

For Betronic Group, this recognition feels like a confirmation of our adherence to our core values: collaboration, quality focus, transparency, and commitment. These values guide how we work with customers and partners: by sharing knowledge, placing quality at the center, communicating openly, and aligning ourselves with shared goals.

On to the final in Utrecht

On Thursday, November 19, 2026, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders from the high-tech and manufacturing industries will gather at Boerderij Mereveld in Utrecht. During the DISCA dinner, nominated companies will present their finalists. Then, the guests present will vote to determine who will win the awards in the categories Best Knowledge Supplier, Best Parts & Process Supplier, and Best Customer.
