Why do I like working at Betronic?

Betronic serves customers who want to make the world a little bit better, for example by developing and producing more energy-efficient and/or less polluting devices, or by offering solutions that have a positive impact on people's well-being. Our employees share this passion with our customers and are intrinsically motivated to contribute their part. Coming from the more corporate world, I find the size and scale of Betronic enormously pleasing. The company is big enough with sufficient expertise, experience, structure, and sparring partners. For an innovative company, our scale is very effective, both for customers, business partners, and the people who work with us.

What are my tasks and responsibilities at Betronic?

As CEO, I am involved with the strategy and keeping our value proposition relevant and attractive to our customers. This means I am focused on our customers, our people, quality, and continuous improvement. At the moment, I am investing a lot of time in improving business processes and building an even more customer-centric culture at Betronic.

What else do I enjoy, besides working at Betronic?

My wife, our two children and I don't live far from the office in Amsterdam. We also spend a lot of our holidays and weekends in Friesland.

I try to contribute to society by being active at my children's school and by holding a board position with a social foundation. I also exercise very regularly to prepare for a number of annual sporting challenges that I do with friends, such as a half marathon, Olympic triathlon or a classic cycling race.
